Quick Start Guide
This guide walks you through setting up LabelFood — from creating your account to printing your first label.
Step 1: Choose Your Plan
Section titled “Step 1: Choose Your Plan”- Go to labelfood.co.uk/pricing
- Choose your plan — Monthly (£32/month) or Annual (£27/month, save £59/year)
- Tap Start free trial
- Fill in your name, email, password, and business details
- Tap Create Account
- You’ll be redirected to the cloud dashboard to finish setting up
Step 2: Set Up Your Branch
Section titled “Step 2: Set Up Your Branch”A branch is your kitchen location (e.g., “Main Kitchen” or “Oxford Street Branch”):
- Enter your branch name and address
- Set your business type
- Save — your branch is ready
You can add more branches later from Settings → Branches.
Step 3: Add Your First Product
Section titled “Step 3: Add Your First Product”- Go to Products in the sidebar
- Tap Add new
- Enter the product name (e.g., “Chicken Tikka Masala”)
- Select a category — e.g., “Mains” or “Desserts”
- Set the use-by period (in hours)
- Select all allergens present in this product
- Tap Save
The product syncs to all paired devices immediately.
Step 4: Pair Your Device
Section titled “Step 4: Pair Your Device”- Power on your LabelFood device
- On the device, go to Settings → Device Pairing
- A 6-digit pairing code appears — valid for 5 minutes
- In the dashboard, go to Settings → Devices
- Tap Pair device and enter the code from the device
- The device syncs and appears in your dashboard
Step 5: Print Your First Label
Section titled “Step 5: Print Your First Label”- On the device, tap Scan to scan a barcode — or tap New Label to search by name
- Select the product — allergens, use-by date, and QR code show on screen
- Check everything looks right, then tap Print
- The label prints in seconds
Step 6: Record Waste
Section titled “Step 6: Record Waste”- On the device, tap Waste
- Select the product from recent labels, or search by name
- Enter the quantity wasted
- Select a reason — e.g., “Overproduction” or “Expired”
- Tap Save — the record syncs to the dashboard
