Introduction

LabelFood is a food labelling system for UK kitchens: a label printer that lives on the bench, and a cloud dashboard that holds your products and your records.

The idea is simple. Your product information is entered once, in the dashboard. The device pulls it down and prints from it, so whoever is on shift picks a product rather than retyping allergens onto a label. Everything that gets printed, and everything that gets binned, goes back up as a record.

How the Parts Fit Together

• Organisation: your business account, holding the company details and the product catalogue
• Branch: one kitchen location, with its own devices, allergen list, storage locations, waste reasons and subscription
• Device: a LabelFood Printer SV2, paired to one branch
• Dashboard: office.labelfood.co.uk, where Owners and Managers work

Products belong to the organisation and can be limited to one branch. Team members and their PINs belong to the organisation. Devices belong to a branch.

On the Device

• Print a label: search, browse by category, or scan a barcode, check the preview, print
• Choose a design: prep and sales layouts, including the full UK compliant sales label
• Record waste: scan the label of what you are binning, pick a reason, add a note or photo
• Add a product: staff can add one on the device, and it goes to a manager for approval
• Sign in with a PIN: every person has their own, so records show who did what
• Keep working offline: labels print and waste records are kept locally, then sync when the network returns

In the Dashboard

• Products: one catalogue, with allergens, shelf life, ingredients and prices. Add them one at a time, in bulk, or by sending photos of your menu
• Labels and Wastage: every label printed and every item binned, searchable
• Reports: label discipline, allergen coverage, waste cost, and a Compliance Pack built for an EHO visit
• Users: your team, their roles and their PINs
• Devices: pairing, status and sync
• Consumables: label rolls, ordered and paid for in a few clicks

What Comes With It

Every plan includes the LabelFood Printer SV2 with a charging cable and demo rolls, no setup fee, no cap on how many labels you print, and a next working day replacement if the device develops a fault. There is a 14-day free trial, and nothing is charged when you sign up.

Label rolls, device cases and charging stations are ordered from the dashboard or from the device itself.
