Storage Locations
Storage locations let you define where products are stored within your kitchen — for example, “Walk-in Fridge”, “Dry Store”, or “Hot Cabinet”. This helps staff locate products quickly when preparing them.
Configure Storage Locations
Section titled “Configure Storage Locations”- Go to Settings → Storage Locations
- Select your branch from the sidebar
- Toggle each location on or off for your branch
Only toggled-on locations will be available for selection when adding or editing products.
Default Storage Locations
Section titled “Default Storage Locations”Common default storage locations include:
- Walk-in Fridge
- Dry Store
- Prep Counter
- Hot Cabinet
- Freezer
Your branch may have more or fewer locations depending on your kitchen setup.
How Staff Use Storage Locations
Section titled “How Staff Use Storage Locations”When a staff member records a waste event from the device, they can optionally log which storage location the product came from. This data appears in waste analytics to help identify where most waste is occurring.
