Labels

The Labels page is the print log for the branch selected in the sidebar: every label printed from every device, newest first. It is a record, not a to-do list, and nothing is removed from it when a label comes off a pack.

Reading a Label Row

Each row carries the product, where it is kept, and its status:

• Xd left in green: within its use-by
• Xh left or Xm left in orange: inside the last 24 hours
• Xm ago, Xh ago or Xd ago in red: past its use-by
• Removed: the label was marked as removed, and the row is faded

Under the status is the exact use-by date and time, or the time it was removed. Faded rows keep what is still live standing out.

Prep and sales labels are marked differently: sales rows carry a teal edge in the card view, and a Sales or Prep badge in the table.

Finding Things

• Search by product name
• Detailed or Compact: compact groups identical labels into one row with a ×N count, which makes a prep session readable instead of forty near-identical lines
• Cards or Table: the table adds columns for use-by, printed at and quantity

Opening this page from the All expired labels card on Home shows only what is past its use-by and not yet dealt with. The heading reads Expired labels when that filter is on.

Bulk Print

Bulk print sends a list of labels to the device to print in one go. See Bulk Labels.

Nothing Showing Yet

Labels appear here after they are printed on a device and the device has synced, which happens every few minutes. If the page is empty:

1. Check the device is paired to this branch, under Settings → Devices
2. Print a label on the device
3. Use Sync from the device’s card if you do not want to wait for the next cycle

Longer Records

• Reports → Label Report: the last 90 days with a summary panel, and a PDF export for inspections and audits
• Reports → Expired on Shelf: past use-by labels that were never marked as removed
• Reports → Compliance Pack: label discipline alongside your wastage log and allergen coverage, as one PDF
