Wastage

The Wastage page shows every food waste event recorded from your devices, along with waste analytics to help you reduce waste over time.

  1. Go to Wastage in the sidebar
  2. All records are shown, most recent first
  3. Use the search bar to find records by product name or waste reason

Each record shows:

  • Product name
  • Date and time the waste was recorded
  • Reason — colour coded by category (amber for Over production, orange for Expired, red for Damaged, purple for Quality issue)

Tap Record wastage to log a waste event directly from the dashboard without using the device.

Every branch has a configurable list of waste reasons. Common reasons include:

  • Overproduction
  • Expired
  • Damaged
  • Quality issue
  • Other

To configure waste reasons for your branch, go to Settings → Waste Reasons.

The home screen shows a Wastage by Reason ring chart — useful for spotting the biggest causes of waste in your operation. Use this data to reduce overproduction and improve prep processes.

For Environmental Health Officer (EHO) inspections, go to Reports → Compliance Pack. It combines your wastage log with label discipline and allergen coverage into a single due-diligence summary for the last 7, 30 or 90 days, and exports to PDF with your organisation and branch details on it.

For wastage figures on their own, Reports → Waste Report breaks records down by reason and period with a cost breakdown.

Records appear here once they are recorded from the device. If you don’t see any records yet, try recording a waste event from the device.
