Categories

Product categories help you organise your product catalogue — making it easier to find products on the device and in the dashboard.

Add a Category

Section titled “Add a Category”
  1. Go to Settings → Categories
  2. Tap Add new
  3. Enter the category name (e.g., “Starters”, “Main Courses”, “Desserts”, “Beverages”)
  4. Tap Save

Edit a Category

Section titled “Edit a Category”

Tap Edit on the category card to change its name.

Delete a Category

Section titled “Delete a Category”

Tap Delete on the category card. Products in this category are not deleted, they simply lose their category.

Using Categories on the Device

Section titled “Using Categories on the Device”

When staff browse products on the device, categories help group products so they can find what they need quickly. Assign a category when adding or editing a product.
