Get Into the Kitchen

LabelFood sits on the counter in UK commercial kitchens and is picked up all day by the people doing the prep. Brand partners reach that room. Trade partners help us fill it.

The Screen a Kitchen Actually Looks At

Most brands that sell into commercial kitchens are trying to reach a room they never get inside. Trade press reaches the owner, a rep reaches the buyer, and neither of them is standing at the prep bench at seven in the morning when the day is actually being put together.

LabelFood is. Our terminal sits on the counter in the kitchens that use it, and staff pick it up every time something is prepped, labelled or thrown away. It is one of the few screens in a professional kitchen that is looked at all day by the people doing the work.

That is what a brand partnership gives you access to: presence on that screen, in the kitchens and the regions you care about, arranged directly with us rather than bought through an exchange.

How a Brand Partnership Works

Direct placements on the terminal home screen, scoped to the kitchens you want to reach.

The Home Screen of the Terminal

Your placement occupies the main panel of the LabelFood terminal home screen — the screen staff return to between every label and every waste record, not a banner tucked into a corner.

Seen Across the Whole Shift

A busy kitchen comes back to the terminal dozens of times a day: morning prep, deliveries, service, close-down. Repetition happens naturally, without paying for it impression by impression.

Chosen by Region and Sector

Placements can be scoped to the parts of the network that matter to you, by region and by the kind of business — bakeries, catering companies, restaurant groups, food manufacturers.

Direct, Not an Ad Exchange

Every placement is agreed with us directly. There is no third-party network reselling the space, no bidding, and nothing arriving on a kitchen screen that we have not approved ourselves.

Category Exclusivity Available

A category can be held exclusively for the term of the agreement, so your competitor is not on the same screen in the same kitchen the following week.

Reported, Not Estimated

You get a report on where the placement ran and how many terminals carried it, drawn from the device network itself rather than modelled from a panel.

Who This Suits, and Who It Does Not

The partnership works best for businesses whose customer is the kitchen itself. Ingredient and packaging suppliers, equipment manufacturers, wholesale distributors, food safety training providers and trade bodies all reach the same room LabelFood is already standing in.

It works less well as a general consumer channel. Nobody eating in the restaurant sees this screen, and we would rather turn away a campaign than sell a placement into an audience it was never going to reach.

Terms are agreed per campaign — region, sector, duration and exclusivity — and there is no self-service booking. Tell us who you are trying to reach and we will tell you honestly whether the network covers it.

How a Partnership Starts

Four steps, no booking platform, and an honest answer at the end of the first call.

1

Tell Us Who You Reach

A short note about your business and the kitchens you are trying to get in front of. No application form and no media pack required at this stage.

2

A Conversation

A call to work out whether the network actually covers your audience. If it does not, we will say so rather than sell you a placement that goes nowhere.

3

Agree the Terms

Region, sector, duration and exclusivity are put in writing, along with what the placement looks like and what gets reported back to you.

4

Go Live

We handle the rollout across the terminals in scope. You get a report at the end of the term, and first refusal on the same slot for the next one.

Trade Partnerships

Selling and Supporting LabelFood

A separate track for businesses that want to put the terminal into kitchens rather than appear on it.

Resellers & Distributors

Catering equipment suppliers, EPOS dealers and hospitality resellers who already sell into UK kitchens and want a labelling terminal alongside what they carry.

  • Reseller pricing
  • Demo hardware
  • Sales and product training
  • UK-based technical backup

Wholesalers & Suppliers

Packaging and ingredient wholesalers whose customers ask about date labels and allergen printing during a normal order call.

  • Label roll supply
  • Co-branded material
  • Introduction handled by us
  • Ongoing revenue share

Consultants & Trainers

Food safety consultants, auditors and training providers who write the management system and then need the kitchen to actually keep the records.

  • Consultant accounts
  • Compliance Pack walkthrough
  • Client onboarding support
  • Referral arrangement

Technology Partners

EPOS, stock control, HACCP and kitchen management platforms whose customers keep asking for labelling to sit next to what they already run.

  • API access
  • Technical documentation
  • Joint implementation
  • Shared roadmap conversations

Referring customers as an individual rather than a business is a simpler arrangement, and it pays a recurring commission.

Frequently Asked Questions

Businesses whose customer is the professional kitchen: ingredient and packaging suppliers, equipment manufacturers, wholesale distributors, training providers and trade bodies. If you are trying to reach diners rather than chefs, this is the wrong channel and we will tell you so.

On the home screen of the LabelFood terminal in the kitchen, which is the screen staff return to between tasks throughout the shift. It is not on the printed label, and it is not visible to the customers of the business.

Within reason, yes. Placements are scoped by region and by type of business rather than by naming individual customers. We will be clear about the coverage in your chosen scope before anything is agreed.

No. Every placement is arranged directly with us and approved by us. There is no exchange, no real-time bidding and no third party deciding what appears on a kitchen screen.

Category exclusivity is available for the term of an agreement. It is priced separately from a standard placement, because it takes the category off the table for everyone else.

The affiliate programme is for individuals and businesses who want to refer customers to LabelFood and earn a recurring commission. A brand partnership is the reverse: you are not selling LabelFood, you are reaching the kitchens that already use it.

We reply to partnership enquiries within one working day, and a first call is usually arranged the same week.
