The LabelFood cloud dashboard is the management layer behind every device. It's where owners and managers set up products, manage staff, monitor operations, and stay inspection-ready without needing to be in the kitchen.

Everything starts with your product catalogue. Add each product once name, allergens, expiry period, storage conditions, custom fields and it's immediately available on every paired device. When a product changes, update it in the dashboard and all devices sync automatically. Staff never handle product data directly; they just scan and print.

The dashboard is built around the reality of a kitchen: managers need visibility and control; staff need simplicity and speed. Every feature is designed so that the right person sees the right information at the right time on desktop, mobile browser, or the iOS app.

Operations

Run the Kitchen Floor From the Dashboard

Approve requests, clear labels, trigger syncs, and run bulk print jobs all from the dashboard without being on site.

Product Requests

When staff request a new product from the device, it lands on the Requests page with a photo and description. Approve or reject approved products go live on the device instantly.

Clearance Requests

Staff can request the removal of expired labels from the device. The request appears on the dashboard for manager review. Approve and labels are cleared no unsupervised bulk deletions on the floor.

Bulk Label Jobs

Create a bulk print job from the dashboard select products, set quantities, submit. The job queues on the device and staff tap Print to run the whole batch in sequence. Perfect for morning prep.

Force Sync

Push the latest products and settings to a device instantly from the dashboard no waiting for the next scheduled sync. Useful after a product update or allergen change you need live immediately.

Configure products with the fields your kitchen needs, define storage locations, and set staff permissions once then everything flows to the device automatically.

Custom Fields

Add custom fields to any product supplier code, batch reference, internal notes, or anything your kitchen tracks. Custom fields appear on the printed label automatically. No code, no workarounds, just add the field and it prints.

Storage Locations

Define storage location codes fridge 1, cold room, dry store and assign them per product. The location code prints on every label so staff always know exactly where to put and find each item. No ambiguity, no verbal briefings.

Staff Roles & Permissions

Add owners, managers, and staff each role has its own access level. Staff use the device with a PIN; managers control the dashboard. Inactivity lock prevents unauthorised use between services. Set it once, it handles itself.

Track every change made to a product over time who updated the allergens, who changed the expiry period, and when. A complete change log per product. Useful for compliance and internal accountability.

Label Reports & PDF Export

The Reports page covers the last 90 days total labels, live, expired, and removed. Filter by product, export to PDF. Hand it to an EHO inspector in seconds. No spreadsheets, no manual records.

Waste Analytics

Every waste event syncs to the dashboard. See breakdown by reason expired, damaged, over-produced, quality issue. Spot patterns, reduce losses. Export waste reports to PDF for compliance audits.

Consumables Ordering

Order label rolls directly from the dashboard no separate supplier account needed. Go to Consumables, set the quantity, pay securely, and rolls are delivered with tracking. Under 1p per label at £2.60 per roll (300 labels).

Order history is tracked on the dashboard. You can also order directly from the device when stock is running low.

Multi-location Management

Add unlimited branches from one dashboard. Each location has its own products, devices, staff, and waste reasons. Products can be shared across all branches or kept specific to each site.
